GOURMET: Arts, Crafts and Local Food in Montelupo
This is going to be a very busy weekend. From Friday to Sunday I'll be at ARTour in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, but on Saturday and Sunday I will also be at GOURMET in Montelupo Fiorentino, a special weekend dedicated to arts and crafts.
Gourmet is the traditional appointment with local products, arts and crafts from Montelupo Fiorentino and surroundings. In the main square there is a large food market where you can find oil, wine, cheese, beer, honey, chocolate, as well as bread, schiacciata, ham and other products made by local producers.
You can also find other specialties, food and wine from several Italian regions.
In addition there is a special Christmas market where you can find decorations for your home and tree, figures and crèches, gifts ideas, as well as handmade accessories, clothing and of course pottery items.
On Sunday there will also be the antiques and collectible market and a free "merenda" in Piazza dell'Unione Europea in the afternoon.
For the event there will be organized several activities for children, such as Christmas workshops, songs and dancing.
You'll find me (or better my mom) with our handmade pottery at the arts and crafts market. Look for Ceramiche Mori and see you there!

GOURMET is on Saturday December 8th from 3.30pm to 7pm and Sunday December 9th from 10 am to 7pm all around the city center of Montelupo Fiorentino. Entrance is free.You'll find me (or better my mom) with our handmade pottery at the arts and crafts market. Look for Ceramiche Mori and see you there!
